To be an active participant in Alabama Care Network Mid-State, a provider or provider group must regularly attend the organization’s medical management meetings. Meetings are held quarterly. Over a 12-month period, a provider or provider group must have representation at a minimum of three quarterly meetings. The attendance requirement for a provider group can be met by having one primary care physician, one nurse practitioner, or one physician assistant attend.
During the COVID-19 health emergency, the Alabama Medicaid Agency is allowing providers to attend medical management meetings via webinar rather than in-person.
Quarter 4 meetings will be held on August 16, August 17, August 22, and August 24, 2023 at 12 noon CDT.
To register for a meeting, please email Kim Eason, Alabama Care Network Southeast’s Executive Director, at keason@uabmc.edu. The agenda and webinar information will be emailed to you prior to the meeting.
Alabama Care Network Southeast will extend attendance credit to a provider or provider group who is unable to attend a medical management meeting during the live webinar if they view a recording of the meeting and meeting materials.
